It is not a place to over-plan. Stop for a swim, eat something simple, and continue towards Lukovë, Borsh, or Sarandë.
For road-trippers, Bunec is exactly the kind of small Riviera beach that makes the drive worth stretching.

Bunec has less recorded history than its neighbours — it has been a small fishing cove for as long as anyone has bothered to write it down, with a stream cutting through the pebble beach to the sea. The hills behind are part of the same olive-cultivation belt as Borsh, with several century-old trees still in production. Two small taverns at the mouth of the stream have been there in some form since the 1960s, when this was a quiet stop on the road south.
Bunec is one of the easier Riviera bays to find parking at, and the swimming is excellent — the stream-fed water is cooler than the surrounding bays, the visibility is high, and the beach is rarely crowded outside July and August. It is the small-bay stop between Lukovë and Borsh that road-trippers use as a midday swim and lunch.
Not famous. That is the point.
